Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 6, 2026
RadiusSpot ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RadiusSpot mobile application ("the Service" / "the App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.
RadiusSpot is an ISP billing application. A core feature of the Android App is SMS-based financial transaction processing: reading bKash and Nagad Send Money payment confirmation SMS on staff collection phones so payments can be posted to your ISP’s RadiusSpot billing server.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information in connection with the Service:
- Account information: Credentials and account details you use to sign in (such as username), as provided by your ISP administrator.
- Usage and device data: Limited technical data needed to operate the App (for example device identifiers used for push notifications, IP address, and app activity related to billing features).
- SMS payment data (Android, optional): When you enable Send Money / SMS collection, the App may read incoming SMS only as described in Section 3 (SMS / financial transactions).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide ISP billing features and keep you signed in securely.
- Process bKash and Nagad Send Money payment confirmation SMS and post parsed payment fields to your ISP’s own RadiusSpot billing API.
- Send operational notifications related to the Service (when notification permission is granted).
- Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use SMS content for advertising, marketing, contact discovery, or reading unrelated personal messages.
3. SMS Access and Financial Transaction Processing
On Android, the App may request READ_SMS and RECEIVE_SMS
only for SMS-based financial transactions related to ISP payment
collection.
3.1 When SMS is used
- Only on staff / collector phones that receive company bKash or Nagad Send Money payments.
- Only after you see an in-app disclosure and grant SMS permission.
- Only when Send Money is enabled for the logged-in account and collection numbers are configured by your ISP admin.
3.2 Which SMS we process
- Payment confirmation SMS from bKash (shortcode / sender 16247 or “bKash”).
- Payment confirmation SMS from Nagad (shortcode / sender 16167 or “Nagad”).
- Other SMS messages are ignored and are not used by the App.
3.3 Fields extracted and sent to your ISP server
From matching payment SMS, the App may extract and send to your ISP’s RadiusSpot
billing API (for example POST /api/sendmoney):
- Provider (bKash or Nagad)
- Transaction ID (TrxID / TxnId)
- Amount
- Sender phone number
- Reference / customer ID (when present in the SMS)
- SMS received time
- SMS body (sent only to your ISP’s own billing server for payment matching)
3.4 What we do not do with SMS
- We do not sell SMS content.
- We do not share SMS content with third-party advertisers or analytics partners for marketing.
- We do not use SMS for OTP theft, spam, or reading personal chats unrelated to bKash/Nagad payment confirmations.
3.5 Denying or withdrawing SMS permission
You may deny SMS permission or revoke it later in Android system settings (Settings → Apps → RadiusSpot → Permissions → SMS). If SMS access is denied, Send Money automatic payment capture will not work; other billing features may still be available.
4. Other Permissions We May Request
Depending on the feature you use, the App may request:
- Notifications — to show payment / service alerts and keep Send Money capture running in the background when enabled.
- Internet / network access — to connect to your ISP’s RadiusSpot billing server.
- Foreground service / battery-related settings — so payment SMS can be posted reliably while the App is minimized (when Send Money is enabled).
The App does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or general storage access for its core functionality.
5. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable precautions to protect personal and payment-related data, including secure transmission to your ISP’s server where applicable. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
6. Sharing Your Information
Payment SMS data and billing data are sent to your ISP’s own RadiusSpot billing server so the ISP can match customer payments. We do not share that data with unrelated third parties for advertising.
We may share information only when:
- Required by law or to protect legal rights.
- Needed by infrastructure providers that host or operate the Service on our behalf (under appropriate safeguards), and not for selling SMS content.
7. User Rights
Depending on applicable law and your ISP’s policies, you may have the right to:
- Access personal information held about you.
- Request correction or deletion where appropriate.
- Withdraw consent for SMS access at any time via Android permissions.
For account or billing data stored on your ISP’s server, contact your ISP administrator or support@radiusspot.com.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from children, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. Please review this policy regularly for any changes.
